This property is 100 years old. All of the external walls are severely damaged due to inadequate foundations, standard procedure to resolve the problem would be to underpin the property. Another option would be to demolish the property and start again. To our client demolishing the property was not an option due to certain characteristics and memories in the property.

Langshott working closely with our architects and structural engineers designed a scheme where we could support the existing roof and chimney structures, so all the damaged external walls could be demolished, new footings could be excavated carefully with a mechanical digger, new concrete footings installed and new traditional structural cavity walls constructed.
