Workmanship guarantee on paving from 01/01/15 is 20 years, please email regarding workmanship on any other product. Guarantees over 12 months are not insurance backed.

When a job has been formally accepted either by email or in writing and is cancelled after 14 days of acceptance. Langshott Landscapes reserves the right to retain a proportion of any deposit paid to cover any resonable costs incurred.

Materials supplied by Langshott Landscapes are only guaranteed as long as the supplier to Langshott Landscapes states.

Any contract between Langshott Landscapes and client is not complete until payment is made in full.

Any materials supplied by Langshott Landscapes remains the property of Langshott Landscapes until full payment is made. This does not affect your right to redress under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Snagging - Please bring any issues to the attention of Langshott Landscapes as soon as practically possible.

Quotations are based solely on visual inspection. On occasions additional work may be identified, in which case  a new quotation will be issued after the additional work is discussed and agreed.

Faults arising from not following recommendations - We cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by or arising from a disregard or failure to follow any recommendations or after-care instructions we have provided in writing.

When Langshott landscapes are working on a site or highway, we are doing so at our customers request. Where a pathway or road is blocked this must be done so with the appropriate authorisation from the local authority and an appropriate alternative route provided for pedestrians and vehicles. Please confirm that this authorisation is obtained.

It is our customers responsibility to advise neighbours of:

  1. Our working hours are from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. 7 days a week
  2. All works we carry out will be very noisy and dusty, however the site will be left clean and tidy at the end of the contract
  3. We will possibly have to close the footpath and or barrier off a roadway section, however we will keep disruption to a minimum.
  4. When necessary we may have to park vehicles on a verge or outside neighbouring property’s, however we will keep disruption to a minimum.

Complaints Policy

We always endeavour to provide the best service and products for our customers. However, on rare occasions, we recognise that there may be times where our customers may not be completely satisfied. To ensure we are able to put things rights as soon as we can, please read our complaints procedure below and we will respond promptly to ensure complete satisfaction. 

As soon as possible after the completion of the works, please inspect the work to ensure everything has been carried out to our usual high standards.

In the unlikely event there is anything you are not completely satisfied with, please contact us as soon as you can in order that we can rectify any problems as soon as possible.

We aim to respond within 2 days of receiving your complaint and where possible, will provide you with a date to remedy any issues raised. Where we are unable to resolve your complaint using our own complaints procedure, as a Which? Trusted trader we use Dispute Resolution Ombudsman for dispute resolution. In the unlikely event that we cannot remedy your complaint to your satisfaction you may wish to refer your complaint to them. If you wish to do so please contact Which?
